The Opportunity In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, including administering treatments and medications, managing resident health, and developing person-centred care plans.
You will also play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships within the team and with residents, providing leadership and guidance when needed.
Your Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
Develop and implement person-centred care plans that cater to individual resident needs.
Lead in fostering positive relationships within the team and with residents, promoting a collaborative environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need:
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution.
A current RN license with the BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives).
Experience as a nurse in a long-term care environment, preferably.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
