The ideal candidate will have experience in mixing, shaping, proofing, baking and decorating a variety of baked goods including bread, pastries, cakes, and other desserts.
As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
You will be expected to have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow recipes accurately, and a passion for creating delicious baked goods.Responsibilities:
Measuring and combining ingredients according to recipes and production schedulesMixing and kneading dough by hand or using machinesShaping dough to make bread, pastries, and other baked goodsProofing dough and monitoring oven temperaturesBaking items according to specified recipes and time framesDecorating baked goods with icings, glazes, and toppingsEnsuring baked goods meet quality standards for appearance and tasteMaintaining a clean and organized work area, including equipment and toolsMonitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as neededFollowing food safety and sanitation guidelines at all timesCollaborating with other team members to ensure efficient and timely productionRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a Baker or similar roleKnowledge of baking techniques and methodsAbility to follow recipes accuratelyFamiliarity with baking equipment and toolsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management skillsAbility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy bags of flour and other ingredientsBenefitsOur Clients value our employees and offer between $17.50 to $18.50 per hour.Please note that our clients are willing to apply for LMIAs for selected candidates.
