The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aras Innovator PLM Developer (or similar) to join our dynamic team. As a PLM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing enterprise-level applications on the PLM platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and system administrators, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the unique requirements of our organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Customization and Development - Design, develop and implement custom solutions on the PLM platform to meet business needs by customizing the applications using C#, AML, XML, and other relevant technologies.
• Workflow and Data Modeling - Define and implement workflows and data models to optimize business processes. Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective data models.
• Integration - Integrate the PLM platform with other enterprise systems using REST and SOAP web services. Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between the PLM platform and external applications.
• User Interface (UI) Enhancements - Develop and enhance the user interface of the PLM platform using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS while ensuring a user-friendly and efficient experience for end-users.
• Database Management - Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to interact with the underlying database. Perform database-related tasks such as data migration, transformation, and maintenance.
• Testing and Debugging - Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality and performance. Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner, collaborating with the departments as needed.
• Documentation - Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design and specifications, and coding standards. Provide training and support documentation for end-users.
• Added Asset: Salesforce development work by being proficient in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components, to create and optimize server-side logic, triggers, and user interfaces. Strong expertise in Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Object Search Language (SOSL) for effective data retrieval and manipulation.

Skills

• PLM Software development experience (Aras preferred)
• Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Oracle, SAP, etc. will be considered
• Strong proficiency in C#, AML, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Familiarity with web services (REST, SOAP) and integration techniques
• Experience with Agile development methodology (SAFe, Scrum, etc.) and Agile project management tools. Azure DevOps preferred.
• Experience with cloud-based systems development and management
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Efficiently plan time to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
• Demonstrated detail-oriented and organized work style
• Ability to systematically analyze problems and procedures
• Proven project management skills
• Added bonus: experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and knowledge of IIS configuration for hosting
• Added bonus: proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, SOQL, and SOSL
• Added bonus: CAD functional knowledge in Autodesk Inventor

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Three to five years' experience in developing for PLM, ERP/MRP, Salesforce, and/or similar platforms
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
