The role demands an individual with a blend of technical knowledge, cultural sensitivity, and a strategic approach to business development to ensure creation of value-driven, mutually beneficial agreements.
With over 20 years of experience, Freeport Industries has designed and built high-quality custom homes and commercial, industrial, and institutional structures throughout BC and Alberta.
Our dedicated team of over 70 members specializes in providing beautiful, high-quality, customized turnkey modular solutions.
We prioritize outstanding customer service and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be based out of Prince George, BC, with regular travel required.
This role requires a strong understanding of sales and contract negotiation, as well as experience in the construction industry, particularly in modular construction.
The job involves managing client selling, including prospecting, consultation, and relationship management.
It also requires providing accurate sales forecasts, reporting on market trends, and ensuring compliance with Freeport's Health & Safety Program.
Additionally, the role involves working closely with colleagues to support sales priorities and creating client vetting processes.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree or college diploma in business administration, management, or a related field.
They should have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years focused on modular construction.
Experience in contract negotiation and understanding of legal and financial principles is also essential.
The candidate should be focused on achieving sales targets while building sustainable and profitable long-term business relationships.
