Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team at CareCorp Seniors Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of geriatric care, excellent assessment skills, and the ability to make sound decisions. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with best practices and maintaining a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of residents' health status and changes in condition, providing valuable insights for our interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with our team to provide holistic care and support, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their healthcare.

Qualifications:

• Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCN&M).
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in long-term care or geriatrics is an asset, but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
