We have two part-time Registered Nurse opportunities available, working from 11pm to 7 am, with FTEs of 0.73 and 0.865 respectively.
As a Registered Nurse at our Kelowna Communities, your responsibilities will include providing high-quality care and support to our residents, adhering to professional standards outlined by the BCNNM, conducting resident assessments, administering treatments and medications, and managing the health of residents with unstable conditions.
You will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships within the team and with residents, providing leadership, support, and guidance.
You will also lead in the development and implementation of person-centred care plans, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
As an ambassador of Baptist Housing, you will model our ministry values and demonstrate servant leadership by prioritizing the needs of others and maintaining positive relationships with residents, team members, families, and partners.
">About You
">We are looking for dedicated RNs who possess strong work ethic, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and are proficient in problem-solving, time management, and meticulous organization of workloads.
You should have an in-depth understanding of aging processes, cognitive function changes, and age-related diseases, and be able to provide empathetic care that transcends the clinical realm.
You should be well-versed in pharmacological therapies, the Wellness Model, legal documentation, and the complex intricacies of the healthcare system at various levels.
You should also be competent, compassionate, and have an unwavering commitment to the well-being of those you serve.
