As an expert clinician, you are able to strategically guide and support a team of talented healthcare professionals who have a strong desire for delivering exceptional care.
As a specialist in your field, you have the ability to manage multiple priorities and the complex care needs of residents.What You Will Do:
Providing leadership, coaching and support to the nursing staffAchieving Resident Satisfaction and Employee Engagement targetsMeeting or surpassing all quality indicators for residents in accordance with company and Ministry guidelinesAchieving regulatory compliance in relation to health care records and safekeeping of drugs and narcoticsMeeting or exceeding department annual budgetWhat You Will Need:
Degree/Diploma in NursingMinimum of three (3) years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a health care settingMinimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in the long-term care sectorCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse with the applicable Provincial licensing body is required as well as the successful completion of Nursing Unit Administrator ProgramCurrent C.P.R.
