• Position Details* Primary Caseload: Return to Work Support Services Kinesiologist
• Available Territories: Comox Valley, Courtenay, and surrounding areas
• About Return to Work Support Services (RTWSS)*
RTWSS is a WorkSafeBC funded service that aims to enable clients recovering from physical injuries to return to their pre-accident employment.
• Responsibilities* Conduct Job Site Visits to determine critical job demands or complete job coaching
• Perform functional screening assessments
• Develop and monitor Graduated Return to Work (GRTW) plans
• Provide education on symptom management and ergonomic strategies

• Experience and Qualifications* At least one year of experience in conducting Job Site Visits and GRTWs
• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics
• Member of BCAK
• Individual professional liability insurance
• Reliable vehicle for work
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Experience working with an insurance fee payer (e.g., WorkSafe BC, ICBC, or other)
• Job Details* Job Type: Part-time
• Pay: $57.00-$70.00 per hour
• Benefits: Casual dress, company events, flexible schedule, work from home
• Flexible language requirement: French not required
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
