We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Pharmacy Manager to join our pharmacy team at our Campbell River location in British Columbia.
This role is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to the delivery of quality patient-centred care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy dispensary, including receiving, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
They will also provide clinical services, such as drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, and prescription and non-prescription counselling.
In addition to these responsibilities, the Assistant Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for collaborating with other healthcare professionals and community partners, managing inventory, scheduling, training, and managing team members, identifying business strengths and patient needs, and developing and implementing business growth strategies and plans.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in pharmacy practice, including your pharmacist licence in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia or equivalent regulatory body, as well as your injection certification.
