As we continue to grow, we are looking for a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to join our team and support the executive leadership in day-to-day operations.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced office manager with strong skills in financial management, bookkeeping, and safety compliance to provide comprehensive administrative support to our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a solid understanding of financials, accounting practices, and safety management systems. Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-level administrative support to the executive team, including calendar management, travel coordination, and correspondence.
Manage financial records, including bookkeeping, data entry, invoicing, and processing payments.
Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and tracking company expenses.
Coordinate internal and external communications and meetings.
Assist with HR-related tasks such as payroll processing, employee record keeping, and recruitment support.
Liaise with vendors, clients, and other stakeholders as required.
Safety Compliance Management: Oversee safety-related tasks to ensure the company is compliant with regulatory and industry safety standards.
Manage and maintain vendor safety compliance systems such as ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, and Avetta, ensuring that all contractors and vendors meet required safety qualifications.
Assist in preparing and maintaining safety documentation and reports for internal audits and regulatory compliance.
Track and report on safety performance metrics, ensuring timely renewal of safety certifications and documents.
Work with the leadership team to implement safety initiatives and policies across the company.
Work alongside the controller and provide support as listed above to both TyCann Camp Services Ltd. and sister company Tyconn Electric Ltd.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an office manager, project manager, or similar role, preferably in a construction, engineering, or industrial environment.
Strong proficiency in financial management, bookkeeping, and accounting software (QuickBooks online).
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other office software tools.
Familiarity with vendor safety management systems (ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, Avetta) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and safety management practices.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
High school diploma required; additional certifications or education in business, accounting, or related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
