Business Development Representative

Sales Career with Ricoh Canada Inc.

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new market share and retaining and expanding sales revenue in assigned accounts.

• Prospecting, effective communication, presentation, and closing skills to drive sales growth
• Developing and pursuing sales strategies to protect and expand Ricoh's base in the region
• Finding and closing deals through outgoing, personable, and passionate business development efforts
• Maintaining accurate information on activities, next steps, probabilities, communications, and forecasting within Salesforce CRM
• Collaborating with marketing teams to promote new products or services to existing clients
• New business prospecting and development, including cold calling, scheduling client introductions, face-to-face and/or video meetings, preparing presentations, demonstrations, proposals, and value propositions

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of direct B2B sales experience; industry selling experience preferred
• Valuable negotiating skills with ability to effectively turnaround objections and work around business obstacles
• Experienced with nurturing ongoing business connections, enjoying building meaningful relationships quickly familiarizing yourself with clients and their needs
• Possesses organizational and project management skills, strong self-motivation to drive results
• Strong analytical skills with preparing business proposals, effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
