Job Summary:
Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to provide safe and effective drug distribution services to numerous facilities. If you have a passion for patient care and are eager to contribute to our team, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for delivery
• Provide final check in a team-based workflow environment and participate in the quality assurance team
• Confirm the accuracy and completeness of prepared prescriptions
• Accept verbal prescriptions from prescribing authorities
• Perform the final check of prepared prescriptions
• Prepare and verify medication orders to be distributed to homes
• Service the front-store dispensary, including customer service and general housekeeping duties
• Medication reconciliation for all new admissions and readmissions to Long Term Care
• Data verification for prescriptions entered by other pharmacy staff
• Checking weekly/daily/monthly cycle fills, ensuring technical accuracy for regular maintenance medications packed through automation
Requirements:
• Proficiency in using the Kroll system and other pharmacy operating systems
• Registered as a pharmacy technician is mandatory
• Extensive experience with vulnerable populations
• Completion of a recognized pharmacy technician program
• Three years of proven experience in pharmacy technician roles
