About the role

As ATB's next Workforce Advisor, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted consultant, driving initiatives that ensure the organization has the right talent, with the right skills, in the right roles at the right time. This role leads critical workforce planning projects, develops and implements innovative tools and methodologies, and provides expert guidance to stakeholders across the organization. Combining advanced analytical capabilities with exceptional consulting, influencing, and communication skills, the Workforce Advisor translates complex data into actionable insights and strategic workforce solutions that align with organizational goals and future needs.

Accountabilities

Project Ownership:

  • Lead key workforce planning projects, such as supply & demand analysis, workforce composition analysis, and productivity trending.
  • Develop project plans, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Present project findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Workforce Planning Methodology:

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of workforce planning tools, methodologies, and processes.
  • Research and implement best practices in workforce planning.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in workforce planning approaches.

Client Support:

  • Provide expert workforce planning advice and support to business leaders and HR partners.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand their workforce needs and challenges and align planning efforts with organization priorities and long-term goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Talent Mobility, Talent Attraction, etc. to integrate workforce planning into broader organizational processes.
  • Develop and deliver tailored workforce plans and solutions.

Strategic Thought Leadership:

  • Proactively identify and analyze workforce trends and challenges.
  • Develop strategic workforce recommendations to address future needs and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of the organization's overall workforce strategy.
  • Provide training and resources to leaders and HR teams to improve their understanding and application of workforce planning concepts.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and reports to communicate workforce findings and recommendations.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to effectively present complex information.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on workforce planning concepts and tools.
  • Effectively communicate workforce planning information to diverse audiences.

Skills, experience & requirements

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in workforce planning, human resources, strategic planning, or a related analytical role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
    • Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results.
    • Strong client management and consulting skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Experience with workforce planning software and tools.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
