The Infrastructure Project Management student position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project coordination within the Workplace and Real Estate Infrastructure Projects team. The role involves supporting project advisors with milestone tracking, cost and schedule updates, field coordination, and gate reviews. Students will learn the application of project management frameworks in a professional setting, contributing to critical infrastructure initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Coordinate project milestones, track progress, and provide updates on cost and schedule to leadership teams.
• Compile and present gate reviews for project stage gating processes.
• Assist with field coordination for site-specific project execution tasks.
• Support project execution for programs like the Dorm Renovation Program at field accommodation sites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to frame issues and propose mitigation strategies.

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).
• Available to begin work in May 2025.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite for project documentation and presentations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of project management principles, including stage gating and milestone tracking.

Education:

• Must be enrolled in an Engineering or Project Management related Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term or registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
