Rheaume Engineering Inc. is seeking a full-time Mechanical Designer to join our team.

What you'll do:

• Design mechanical piping systems for oil & gas facilities in 3D CADWorx

• Prepare 2D plot plans, PFDs, and P&IDs

• Work on general arrangements and piping isometric drawings

• Review vendor equipment package drawings

• Collaborate with and support project managers, engineers, and other designers

• Maintain accurate and organized drawing files within existing file structure

• Manage assigned tasks and deadlines

Who you are:

• Must have 5+ years of oil and gas 3D piping design experience at a Western Canada EPC

• Must have knowledge of CAD programs such as: AutoCAD, CADWorx, and Navisworks

• Must be currently living in Calgary or Grande Prairie

• SmartPlant experience is desired

• Post-secondary CAD training (SAIT EDDT or equivalent) is desired

• Detailed oriented - able to find mistakes in their own and other's work

• Takes pride in work - ensures their work is produced to the best of their ability

• Organized - able to work on multiple project deadlines simultaneously and be efficient with their time

• Effective communicator - both written and spoken

• Adaptable to fluctuating hours and workload, driven by project needs

Compensation:

• Either employee or contractor status may be considered for this role. Rheaume has a competitive, multi-faceted compensation plan including a competitive hourly rate based on experience and education, health and dental benefits, and RRSP matching.
