Business Development and Account Executive, Electric Power Market - Saskatchewan Region (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan)

The Business Development and Account Executive role is responsible for the functions equivalent to a Sales Account Manager.
This is a full-time position focused on managing strategic accounts and building long-term relationships with utilities and industrial clients.
This function will play a key role in generating leads, ensuring customer satisfaction, and promoting the company's solutions - highly focused in growing and managing strategic accounts for Saskatchewan region.
This role requires a customer-centric mindset, a passion for electric power systems, and the ability to achieve sales goals while providing exemplary service.

This position requires flexibility in meeting multiple job demands and the requirement to assist other team members on-site as and when needed.
The ideal candidate will have relevant and progressive experience in the delivery of protection, control, automation, and interconnect solutions for the electric power market, combined with good interpersonal/teamwork, organizational, and communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
Most importantly, they would need to have the business development and sales lead generation skills, and ability to effectively communicate and handle operational pressures calmly.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Account management skills and proven track record of business development results within the region and industry.
Lead generation and communication expertise; Ability to handle both strategic planning and delivery for sales results.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills; Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
Ability to achieve sales targets and goals; Ability to regularly communicate measures of success.
Knowledge of electric power systems; protection and control background is a plus.
Degree in a related field and 7+ years of relevant work experience in the region and industry.
Has been living in Saskatchewan for at least the last 5 years.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Grow, manage and provide regular reporting on strategic accounts in Saskatchewan.
Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities and industrial companies.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Provide technical support and recommendations on Company solutions.
Meet and exceed sales targets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
