Job Title:
Asphalt Plant OperatorWe are seeking a highly motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Full-Time Asphalt Plant Operator at our Edmonton Asphalt Operation.About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for directing a production crew of up to 5 workers, performing daily plant maintenance, and operating GENCOR 300 TPH Asphalt plants.
They will also learn and execute our company's safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.ResponsibilitiesDirecting a production crew of up to 5 workers.Daily Plant Maintenance.Preventative plant maintenance and repairs.Operation of GENCOR 300 TPH Asphalt plants.Learning our company safety protocol to execute work safely.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsMinimum 1-year operating Asphalt Production Plants, preference given to those with direct GENCOR plant experience.Mechanically inclined and able to work with minimal supervision.Must have own Transportation.Must be eligible for membership in the Union of Operating Engineers OE955.Must have strong supervisory / Communication skills.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and be available on short notice.
