Our aim is to support developing tourism besides the existing income streams and point out that the traditional ways of making money should be appreciated and continued.
Sustainable tourism should always be seen as an add-on and should never replace the traditional ways of making money for the community.As our Community Based Tourism Coordinator for Brazil, you will face an inspiring challenge to support a local community in Rio de Janeiro.
You will support them to develop their tourism project and bring it to the next level, enhancing its positive impact on the well-being of residents.Your focus will be working closely with the local favela organization, whereas you will receive assistance and report to our Colombia-based V Social South America coordinator, Camilo.Your main responsibilities will beMentor the community to improve tourism quality and impact.Enhance technical skills:
