Senior Executive Vice President for Operations

Gulf University seeks an exceptional Senior Executive Vice President for Operations to lead our administrative team.
As a key member of the university's executive leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing various departments, including Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Facilities and Purchasing.Responsibilities:
Advisory Role:
Provide strategic advice to the President on university-wide initiatives and propose recommendations for improvement.Departmental Oversight:
Supervise staff activities in administrative departments, ensuring seamless operations and effective use of resources.Facilitation and Coordination:
Streamline administrative processes, facilitating efficient accomplishment and securing required approvals.Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the development team to create and implement academic strategic plans, driving growth and excellence.Financial Management:
Oversee all financial matters, including collections, budgets, and expenditures.Campus Maintenance:
Manage buildings, grounds, repairs, construction, and remodeling projects to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.Purchasing and Procurement:
Supervise purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimal resource allocation.Staff Management:
Directly manage staff salaries, benefits, visas, housing, and government personnel regulations, ensuring fairness and adherence to policies.Personnel Operations:
Oversee recruitment, contracting, termination, training, development, and induction programs for administrative staff, as well as disciplinary actions.Reporting:
Prepare and submit annual reports on administrative and financial operations to the President.Requirements:
Credentials:
Hold a recognized PhD from a reputable institution, aligned with Article 39 of the HEC Resolution No.
206/2023.Experience:
Possess suitable academic and administrative experience, with a strong professional reputation.Conduct and Behavior:
Demonstrate good conduct, behavior, and moral character, free from any convictions or disciplinary issues related to public morals.Health and Conduct:
Be fit in terms of health and not have committed any acts that would harm the Kingdom of Bahrain's reputation or interests.Political Associations:
Not hold a post in any political association or engage in activities with a political nature.We Offer:
