We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the successful delivery of an ERP upgrade project across the business in Australia and China.
The ideal candidate will have a robust background in project management, business analysis, and business intelligence analysis, with a strong technical understanding of IT systems.
This role is hands-on and is critical in ensuring that the ERP upgrade is delivered efficiently, meeting business objectives and technical requirements.
This is a one-year contract position for the right person to come and oversee the successful delivery of this project.Key Responsibilities:
ERP Upgrade Project Management:
Assist with the planning, execution, and delivery of the ERP upgrade project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Business Analysis:
Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into technical specifications for the ERP system.Business Intelligence Analysis:
Oversee the development of BI solutions related to ERP data, including reports, dashboards, and data analytics to support decision-making.Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices are followed in the design, development, and deployment of ERP systems.
Assist with test scenarios and user training.Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with business users, IT team, and external vendors to ensure alignment of project goals and successful delivery of the ERP solution.Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and issues in the ERP project, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.Change Management:
Assist with change management efforts, including training and support, to ensure smooth transition to the upgraded ERP system.Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement in ERP processes, systems, and BI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.Compliance and Documentation:
Work with compliance analysts to ensure the ERP upgrade project complies with company policies and standards.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for project delivery.Key Requirements:
Project Management:
Extensive experience in managing ERP upgrade projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies.
PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.Business Analysis:
Proficiency in business analysis, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
Experience with ERP systems is essential.Business Intelligence Analysis:
Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI and data analytics, with the ability to design and implement reporting solutions that provide actionable insights.Technical Skills:
Strong technical understanding of IT systems, including ERP architecture, databases, and integration technologies.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and data management is advantageous.Communication:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage external vendors, and foster a collaborative working environment.Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering practical solutions to complex challenges.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role involving ERP systems.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in manufacturing industries with ERP systems is a plus.Knowledge of data governance and data quality management practices.Benefits:
