This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of payments in gaming at scale.ResponsibilitiesLead a team of 6 to 12 software engineersTake ownership of one or more key systems at Coda, working with your team to constantly drive our technology forward and defining an aggressive technology roadmapWork closely with the Product team to ensure goals and work is clearly defined, at both the OKR and day-to-day levelsOwn the execution of product and technical goalsCoach team members using continuous improvement techniques, resulting in a high-performance teamCollaborate with the recruiting team to attract strong engineering talentRequirementsPassion for building great products and softwareExemplary communication skills, both written and oralExperience in an agile environment, with the ability to analyze and optimize team productivity5+ years of experience as a successful software engineer working on hard problems2+ years as a technical lead, manager, architect, or other leadership positionStrong experience with data technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL, message queues, etc.)The ability to query, analyze, and work with data to drive decision makingExpert architectural skillsThe ability to write and review code as necessaryAble to quickly learn or evaluate new technologiesBonus if you haveExperience with extremely high scale, distributed systemsDeep knowledge of security or cryptographyMachine learning and big data knowledgeExperience building systems in the AWS cloudWorking at CodaJoining the Coda team means diving into a fast-paced, challenging, and exciting world.
