Your day to day:

• Develop and maintain Altis' architectural roadmap aligned with IT strategy and business goals.
  
• Implement secure architecture and coding principles for product development and deployment.
  
• Create and manage IT documentation, including data models, flow diagrams, and technical specifications.
  
• Oversee Altis' central knowledge base for architectural best practices, policies, and standards.
  
• Monitor security threats and lead incident management, including threat intelligence and resolution.
  
• Manage internal and external security testing and compliance with ISO 27001:
  2022.
  
• Provide architectural and quality assurance support to client projects.
  
• Train and coach teams on architectural and security best practices.
  
• Drive a culture of security awareness, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across Altis.
  

What you will bring

• The ability to design and successfully implement scalable and secure cloud-based solutions, enterprise wide digital transformation, and hybrid and cloud-based data and analytics solutions.
  
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and Google Cloud including familiarity with their well architected frameworks.
  
• Strong understanding of data architecture (data lakes, warehouses, big data platforms) and data modeling.
  
• Advanced knowledge of data security practices (encryption, access controls, threat detection).
  
• Proficiency in network security (firewalls, VPNs) and infrastructure design.
  
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills for developing long-term solutions.
  
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Strong project management abilities to oversee multiple priorities.
  
• Attention to detail in technical documentation (architectures, processes, and procedures).
  
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying current on industry trends and technologies.
  
• Team leadership skills, with experience in guiding and mentoring technical teams.
  

Qualifications/ Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
  
• 5+ years proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role preferably in the data and analytics industry.
  
• TOGAF certified, with TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation or higher preferred.
  
• Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate and Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
