You will work with insurance teams to identify and implement any pricing actions to ensure relevant KPI targets are reached.
You will ascertain that actuarial pricing standards are met globally and provide recommendations/oversight for any novel solutions being implemented.
To excel in this position, you should be a qualified Actuary, deeply passionate about technology and innovation in product development.
Essential to success is your ability to collaborate consistently with both internal teams and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
Monitor underwriting performance globally, including captivesMonitor / update pricingWork closely with the Insurance and Partnerships team to design and implement novel protection solutionsDevelop relationships with underwriters, and lead complex pricing discussions with insurers' underwriting and actuarial teamsSkills & Experience:
What you will bring:
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics or Data Science.Qualified actuary, or currently making good progress with examinations through the Institute of Actuaries (or equivalent).Experience working in General Insurance lines of business.Experience in development and implementation of Reserving methodologies for GI linesStrong technical, analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong SQL and Excel skills.Programming skills in R and/or Python desirable.Results driven focus with an emphasis on producing outstanding results.What you will have:
