To this end, we are hiring a Compliance Specialist - Agent Oversight AU.ResponsibilitiesThis role requires domestic travel.Provide compliance support to the money remittance business and its agents in adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) and other regulatory obligations in Australia.Monitor and analyze transaction activities to detect and respond to irregular and unusual behaviors/patterns of agents and correspondents.Create, develop, and/or enhance compliance policies and procedures.Help Ria agents implement compliance policies to meet regulatory requirements.Liaise with Ria agents to ensure that compliance policies and controls are practical and efficient.Escalate issues, assist in conducting internal investigations, draft documentation, and file reports to regulators.Liaise with authorities, financial intelligence units, and other regulatory bodies.Build relationships with other internal departments to meet compliance goals.QualificationsLawyer, Economics, or Business Administration Bachelor's degree preferred.Courses, certificates, or studies in compliance-related matters (CAMS, ICA, or similar) are a plus.Minimum +2 years of experience in AML/CTF environment or compliance risk management.Strong analytical, operational, and problem-solving skills are a must.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to follow through with the tasks given.Knowledge of money laundering compliance requirements for money service businesses is highly considered.High attention to detail.Job InfoJob Identification:
