As the Talent Acquisition Business Partner, your role is to lead the Authority's recruitment and selection processes using contemporary and innovative methods and tools to help build an engaged and diverse workforce and talent pipeline.
You will partner with senior leaders and hiring managers in providing expert advice and guidance across the entire attraction, sourcing and onboarding functions.
You will manage the end-to-end recruitment activities to ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the process.
You will proactively source and attract high-quality candidates using best practice techniques and current platforms and tools.
Working within the People and Culture team in this stand-alone Talent Acquisition role, you will report to the Head of People and Culture and contribute positively and creatively to the Authority's recruitment and selection initiatives and the broader People and Culture team activities.
The salary on offer is between $115,000 and $135,000 per annum commensurate with experience, plus 12.75% superannuation.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role for 12 months (with possibility of extension).
In joining the Authority, you will join a team of hard-working professionals, dedicated to preparing Queensland for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Generational change is coming to Queensland, and it's being delivered by the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority.

About your Responsibilities
Provide best practice attraction, sourcing and onboarding advice in line with recruitment and selection policies and legislation to deliver on talent acquisition strategies.
Partner with hiring managers in providing expert advice and guidance on the development, evaluation and review of role descriptions.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment activities including hiring briefs, candidate screening, shortlisting, scheduling and conducting interviews, providing advice on interview questions/methods, and undertaking pre-employment checks.
Build capability of hiring managers through coaching and education on recruitment and selection strategies and tools.
Engage and oversee external agency recruitment processes including internal procurement processes whilst building and maintaining effective relationships.
Administration of all related recruitment activities including the maintenance of establishment data and accurate record keeping, ensuring documentation is stored and maintained accurately within the records management systems.
Seek feedback from hiring managers and candidates regarding their experience and use feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain, deliver and continuously improve the Authority's onboarding program that builds engagement with, and understanding about, the Authority and its purpose.
About You
Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in developing and implementing talent acquisition activities in a complex environment.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to consult with senior leaders and hiring managers to deliver successful recruitment outcomes.
Expertise in managing and optimising talent attraction platforms and tools, including Seek, LinkedIn, and other recruitment marketing tools.
Well-developed problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to effectively collaborate, influence and innovate with a broad range of stakeholders.
Organised approach to work with excellent prioritisation and time management skills and the ability to be agile and highly responsive working in an ambiguous and complex environment.
