We are proud of all that has been achieved since 1870, and as always, bold in our ambition for the future as the Port Adelaide Football Club continues to evolve and thrive.The RoleWe are seeking an energetic and driven Business Development Manager to join our team.Working as a key member of the Commercial Team, you will be the driving force behind the growth of PAFC's Power Community with responsibility for identifying new partnership opportunities and driving revenue growth within Power Community Limited (PCL).Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement:
Identify and develop new business opportunities through building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure long-term growth and sustainability of PCL.Business Development:
In conjunction with Commercial and Community Management teams, identify new revenue streams and opportunities for expansion including pursuing new business opportunities that align with PCL growth objectives, including non-traditional revenue streams.Planning & Proposals:
Develop and implement effective strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand revenue streams.
Prepare and present effective and tailored proposals and negotiate contracts.Communication & Collaboration:
Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and programs.What you will bring:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in community, government, or partnership positions, ideally managing complex relationships with large, national organisations.Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing, law or commerce are desirable.Passion for Sport and its impact on the Community:
A deep understanding of the power of sport in changing people's lives plus the unique challenges and opportunities sport and the Port Adelaide Football Club presents.Engagement:
Excellent interpersonal and strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders including corporate partners.Adaptability:
A flexible, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment including the ability to work outside core hours.Market Knowledge:
