An exciting opportunity has become available for an exceptional Music Teacher to join our progressive and supportive Music Department.
The successful candidate will be committed to the delivery of best practice in Music Education.This is a fixed-term full-time position to cover Long Service Leave in Term 3.
Essential to this roleQualification in Music EducationQualifications in Secondary EducationCurrent accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)Demonstrated delivery of effective teaching and learning programs, fostering an inclusive and challenging learning environmentDemonstrated experience achieving advanced outcomes in stages 4 and 5 music coursesDemonstrated experience delivering quality co-curricular music experiences, including the musical direction of instrumental and/or choral ensemblesPropensity to infuse a Christian ethos into teaching practiceCommitment to one's own ongoing learning, in alignment with the development directions of the DepartmentProfessional and personal integrityBeing proactive and innovativeBe a confident and collaborative team player and an excellent communicatorWe offer outstanding opportunities for professional development, a supportive work environment and new experiences.Candidates must demonstrate a positive support for the Christian values of a Presbyterian GPS School.Pre-employment checksAll applicants must have a current NSW Working with Children Clearance.
