Reporting to the Tax Manager Australia, the role will have a broad compliance, data and process improvement focus.
You will work widely across the business, responsible for supporting with full range of tax compliance matters including reporting and special project/advisory services, with emphasis on the following:

• Assisting the Australian Tax Manager and/or Senior Tax Analyst deliver transformation of the Australian group's tax compliance and incentives programs to be achieved through process re-engineering and implementation of technology solutions,
• Assisting the Australian Tax Manager and/or Senior Tax Analyst administer income tax, GST, FBT and R&D compliance and reporting,
• Perform monthly GL reconciliations,
• Implementing/maintaining internal reporting controls & procedures,
• Assisting with providing advice to the broader business,
• Perform analysis of business requirements to recommend and/or develop improved procedures/processes to meet business demands, and
• Assisting with state and federal revenue authority reviews.

To be successful in this role you will have a finance/tax background & be numerically literate.
In addition you will:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail and processes
• Understanding of Australian tax reporting and compliance requirements
• Experience in accounting systems, ideally SAP, and at least intermediate capability in Excel
• Demonstrated experience in a finance department in either a listed or global organization or a consulting firm supporting Global organizations
• Time management as functions of the role have non-negotiable deadlines.
• CA/CPA Qualified
• Sound understanding of corporate responsibilities and behaviours.
• Strong desire to develop existing experience in systems and data analysis (SAP, PowerBI and PowerQuery)
