Legal/Senior Legal Counsel - Transactional Banking
You will be joining an established in-house transactional legal team with a Big 4 Bank as a Senior Legal Counsel based in Melbourne or Sydney with a focus on capital markets transactions within a fun, flexible and high-performing environment.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:
Deliver strategic and precise legal advice on complex debt and equity capital markets transactions, including unsecured and secured funding, medium-term notes, regulatory capital securities, covered bonds, securitization, and commercial paper across various jurisdictions such as Australia, Europe, the U.S., and Japan.
Identify and manage cross-border legal complexities to ensure compliance with international regulatory frameworks and best practices.
Foster a culture of responsible risk management, aligning legal guidance with the organization's financial stability, strategic objectives, and reputation.
About You
You have:
4-7 PQE with relevant legal qualifications and current practising certificate.
Strong banking and finance legal experience from within a top-tier or highly reputable private practice firm.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
