CCS provides management of individuals on court orders, people who have committed serious sex offences on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.About the role:
Court Assessment & Prosecutions Officers (CAPS Officers) are responsible for supporting the operation of the Court Assessment and Prosecutions Service and applying relevant work practices.
This includes conducting initial assessments, variations or prosecution against an individual's court order.Key responsibilities include:
Provide timely, high quality, evidence-based advice to stakeholdersUndertake an effective assessment of an individual's risk to community safetyEffectively manage individuals exhibiting challenging behavioursProduce detailed reports and other standard documents in line with procedural guidelinesThis position works on a rotating 9-day fortnight roster which requires attendance in the afternoons and weekends.The Bail and Remand Court (BaRC) functions 7-days per week, between 9am and 9:
30pm and CCS provides support to the court via a shift worker roster.To be successful in this role you will have:
