Our rotational program offers early career occupational therapists the opportunity to gain experience across acute, sub-acute and community settings, receive high quality supervision and regular professional development. You will be welcomed by peers from all over Australia who now call Hobart home and have access to senior occupational therapists and clinical leads to support you as your career progresses.

The service:

The Occupational Therapy Service includes over 90 team members consisting of occupational therapists and assistants, play specialists, diversional therapists, carpenters, and administration officers. We work across acute, sub-acute and community settings, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest teaching hospital in Tasmania.

Details of Appointment

Multiple permanent, full-time or part-time, day worker positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

• notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed-term full-time, part-time and casual vacancies.

Salary:
$71,441 to $107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

• Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia.
• Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
