Clinical Nurse Consultant (Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service)

Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in delivery of healthcare and provide clinical governance to ensure continued high quality, safe services in the relevant work area.
An opportunity has become available for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

About Us
Specialist Programs Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (SPAODS) is a Service Line within the Mental Health and Specialist Services (MHSS) Directorate.
SPAODS is comprised of 11 different teams, one of these teams is the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry team (CLP).
Services provided include triage, assessment, and clinical interventions and linkage with support services and other services involved in care provision for this population.
This position works closely with the Consultant Psychiatrist and Registrar to provide these services.
