About the position

The Scots College is an innovative and creative teaching and learning environment for boys T-12.

We are seeking qualified Casual Teachers to join our progressive and supportive Glengarry campus commencing in Term 3, 2024.
This position will involve working alongside our Glengarry academic staff team and Adventure Academy staff team to provide academic classes for the students at Glengarry.
The Adventure Academy students participate in online lessons with Bellevue Hill staff while Glengarry students participate in regular academic lessons.

Our Glengarry campus is an extended stay and outdoor experiential education campus, located in the pristine Kangaroo Valley, two hours southwest of Sydney.
It provides a distinctive learning environment in which Year 9 boys discover the tools they need to grow into fine young men.

Glengarry's residential program is a unique, expansive experience that accelerates boys' social development and is renowned as a rite of passage into manhood.

Essential to this role

• Qualifications in Secondary Education
• Teaching Experience
• Current accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
• Demonstrated delivery of effective teaching and learning programs, fostering an inclusive and challenging learning environment
• Be a confident and collaborative team player and an excellent communicator
• Flexibility to adjust to supporting students in the Adventure Academy program with their remote learning lessons
