The opportunities

As a Trade Technician OR Work Site Supervisor (Civil or Electrical) , you will join the leading QLD Power and Energy Transmission sector.
You will be responsible for ensuring High Voltage Substations are commissioned to the Transmission energy standard.
We need professional High voltage trade Specialists with an eagerness to share and learn new skills to help us build Queensland's next generation power grid.

The people you'll join:

Based in Townsville, Gladstone or Brisbane , you will be joining our growing team who play a vital role in the energy transition.
Your role will involve working throughout the state of Queensland, operating, maintaining and upgrading our transmission network and substations.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of cutting-edge primary plant infrastructure in a high voltage substation environment.
The role involves installing and fault finding complex electrical, logical, and HV equipment.

What you'll bring:

• An Electrical Trade Certificate with a QLD electrical licence or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement (2-3 week turnaround for NSW or VIC)
• Demonstrated ability to effectively analyse and fault find on complex electrical circuitry and schemes
• Demonstrated high quality communication skills in a technical environment
• Demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports and work procedures
