We're seeking an experienced Site Manager to join and lead our Customer Fulfillment Operations team for our brand new site in Horsley Park.As a Site Manager, you'll deliver inspiring, supportive leadership for the teams you manage.
But at the same time, you don't shy away from rolling up your sleeves and getting involved whenever necessary.You'll be directly responsible for managing a team of Operations Managers and their direct reports.

you'll motivate and inspire your teams to do their best work, while planning schedules and activities that balance their needs with that of the business.Another key aspect of your role will be to lead on numerous process improvement projects, with the aim of streamlining all activities, both for yourself and the team members you manage.

this immense opportunity is yours for the taking.Your role will be pivotal in the overall management, control, organisation and direction for both the Outbound or Inbound operational areas of your FC.Responsibilities:
Maintaining Health and Safety standards within your remit area, while promoting an inspiring Health and Safety culture on-site.Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations.Become a subject matter expert on specific, larger-scale processes and activities within FCs, such as 5S audits.In your inventory control and systems environment, you'll manage timely data collection, updating operations metrics on an hourly basis.Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan.Aim to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and ensure an excellent customer experience.Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers.
Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments.Work closely with other support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety and Security, IT) on staffing plans, schedules and performance levels.Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience in a similar, innovative logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.Previous experience in leading large, diverse teams.Experience in employee and performance management.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to manage details, establish and carry out root cause analysis, and then extract and analyse the data you generate.You thrive on change, and are willing to relocate if necessary.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong operational experience in a fast growing company/industry.Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies would be highly advantageous.Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons.Proven record of delivering change management initiatives.Acknowledgement of country:
