CLEANER – TAMWORTH Required In Carinya Christian School

The objective of this role is to support the work of the Maintenance Team by completing general cleaning duties across all aspects of the school 5 days per week (Monday to Friday), 3 - 4 hours per day.
Shift availabilities negotiable (Morning, Day, Afternoon).RESPONSIBILITIESGeneral cleaning duties include, but are not limited to:
Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors;Cleaning desks, window sills, whiteboards and other surfaces;Removing and disposing of rubbish;Cleaning student and staff amenities including kitchen areas, washrooms, toilets, and showers.The position holder reports to the Maintenance Manager.THE APPLICANTThe clean and tidy presentation of our school is a very important aspect of Carinya, and so our Cleaners are expected to be hard workers with an eye for detail.
Self-motivation is a must as the applicant will be mostly working alone in an assigned area during term time, and often working as part of a team during school holiday times.
People who are new to cleaning, but happy to receive advice and on-the-job training, are welcome to apply.Applicants must be committed Christians of reformed evangelical persuasion.THE SCHOOLCarinya is a co-educational Christian school with sites in Tamworth & Gunnedah.
