Role Purpose:

The Head of Retail Brand Marketing is a strategic and dynamic operational role that leads and drives our retail marketing efforts. You will play a s crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement and increase revenue. You will lead a team to optimise omni channel brand experience and develop and implement brand and tactical campaigns. The role responsibilities include budget accountability, point of sale assets in our retail stores, product packaging, NPS, media strategy and booking, campaign results & insights, content planning & strategy & various consumer research projects.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall business goals. You will lead and manage the creative process directed at growing our brand presence and creating memorable retail experiences for our customers, and ensure that the communication of Fantastic Furniture's brand identity and delivery of campaigns creates excitement, builds loyalty, drives footfall and online visits.

• Leadership:

• Analyse, improve, and track campaign success through KPIs and data-driven insights.
• Manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and accountability.
• Develop and execute supplier evaluation and contract negotiation programs.
• Community Engagement:
• Develop and implement campaigns that build Fantastic Furniture's credibility in the community and planet.
• Support sustainability initiatives through powerful messaging.
• Business Growth:
• Develop and execute campaigns that capture attention and foster emotional connections with customers.
• Oversee the development of compelling content and messaging that resonates with target audiences.

Success Profile:

• Experience:
• Substantial experience in marketing roles, including brand management and campaign execution.
• Previous exposure to media (both mass and digital) and working with creative and media agencies.
• Experience in writing marketing briefs and working in retail marketing (desirable).
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Experience in customer research and using insights to drive marketing strategies.
• Strong background in budget management and optimizing marketing spend.
• Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in business disciplines.
• Tertiary qualifications in marketing (desirable).
• Technical Skills:
• A creative leader with a sharp sense of what makes brands thrive in retail.
• Data-savvy with a talent for translating numbers into actionable insights.
• Skilled at developing multi-channel campaigns that tell a compelling story.

Direct Reports:

As the Head of Brand, you will have three direct reports: a Brand Manager and two Assistant Brand Managers. You will lead, coach, and support these team members to meet their individual performance and development goals. Your leadership will foster a collaborative team environment based on growth, resilience, integrity, and accountability. You will actively engage your team through effective communication and activities, empowering them to achieve high levels of engagement and performance.
