The Opportunity
An opportunity exists for an Administration Officer at our Cairns site. The position acts as the first point of contact for employees and clients and provides administrative, transactional, and general support to the Administration and Production Team.
What's involved
Provide first point of contact support to all visiting staff and general visitors to site, as required.
Support site operational staff with processing daily timecards and provide weekly labour reports to operational management.
Maintain accounting processes for site credit card payments and contractor invoicing.
Assist Operations and Administration Team with site specific administration duties, as required.
Provide level of administration support that fosters an environment of efficiency, accuracy, and order of priority.
You'll need
Essential
Demonstrated experience in an administration support role.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team.
Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing multiple tasks.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Desirable
Ability to recognise and initiate improvements with the department.
Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
