This role will carry out work predominantly on our fleet of 6 Cessna 208 Amphibious Aircraft as well as our Wipline 8000 and 8750 series floats.
This is a full-time permanent position based in Broome, WA.Key responsibilities will include:
Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft to ensure airworthiness;In conjunction with the Chief Engineer, continuously enhance fleet service, maintenance, and repair programs to improve the efficiency, reliability, and presentation of the fleet;Troubleshooting and providing corrective actions to ensure that the aircraft maintain airworthiness, reporting any defects or faults through the appropriate channel;Effective management of tasks as delegated by the Chief Engineer, ensuring all tasks are completed within the operational plan;Accurate compliance record keeping in alignment with CASA requirements;Performing all duties safely and effectively, adhering to company procedures (SMS and CPPM) and WHS requirements.About YouYou will have a proactive and solutions-focused approach with a 'can-do attitude' and are someone who thrives in a dynamic, busy working environment.
You will be reliable, have a strong work ethic, and be a team player.
We are looking for someone with previous work experience as an AME, with experience working on C208 aircraft advantageous.
Progress toward obtaining a B1 License and/or PT6 series license is highly desirable.
