As Trades Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the service department to ensure production output, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance, and Quality targets are met.
You will be responsible for assisting with maintenance requirements for workshop and plant equipment, as well as contributing to component painting tasks and cleaning/sandblasting operations as needed.

Specific Tasks:

• Ensure all HSE procedures are followed, and all incidents are reported accordingly.
  
• Assist with stripping Pumps & Motors as required.
  
• Clean and prepare stripped items to confirm they are fit for purpose before passing them on to other areas for further work.
  
• Assist with basic assembly/disassembly tasks as required.
  
• Aid in mounting/dismounting units from the test rig.
  
• Perform painting of completed units.
  
• Engage in basic housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, emptying waste containers, etc.
  
• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues.
  
• Work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  
• Proactively advise on any safety issues or suggestions and communicate part issues promptly to ensure they are dealt with accordingly.
