Logistics Executive - PricingPosition Overview:
Candidate should be a Graduate in Logistics with at least 5 years of experience in a reputed Freight Forwarding, Vessel Chartering enterprise, or any Trading/Manufacturing - Export/Import company with experience in Dangerous Goods handling.Key Responsibilities:
Head the Logistics Functions for the plant, well-versed in:
Vessel Chartering, Dry Container, ISO tanks, Road transport within GCCShore Tanks Lease and ChartersCustoms formalities and border formalities within UAE and GCCShipping industry knowledge including Main Shipping Lines and ISO Tank OperatorsGlobal vessel owners carrying petrochemicals, routes, and space nominationsCross trades in Dry Containers and switch documentsBL Formalities and LC terms for Bulk and FCL CargoesNegotiating and drafting contracts and fixtures, managing logistics team membersExperience in Handling Dangerous Goods.Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, and clearing agents for customs clearance and related parties for Import & Export shipments.Execute export documentation (pre & post shipment) requirements for shipments from Jebel Ali to destinations, ensuring compliance with export regulations.Prepare documents from Chamber of Commerce and Attestation by Embassy & MOFA.Follow up with customers and shipping lines for Import/Export shipments, maintaining status updates.Update shipment documentation status on an Excel sheet and report to the manager daily.Arrange shipping documents in a timely manner without discrepancies.Communicate with suppliers and customers to provide shipping advice and share documents promptly.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Schedule import and export shipment documents weekly.Submit daily Shipment Document Status reports.Send export shipping documents to customers timely.Communicate with concerned parties (suppliers & customers) promptly.KEY CHALLENGES:
Handle 150-200 export documents.Learn product line for a better understanding of products.Broad logistics knowledge required.Control and follow up shipments for several countries simultaneously.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate in Logistics & Supply Chain preferred.5+ years of logistic background required.Job Type:
