Job summary
MISSION:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from planning and execution to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of construction management, and previous experience in infrastructure projects within the region.
TASKS:

Oversee the entire construction process, managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously across various locations in Saudi Arabia and GCC.
Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers, engineers, and site staff, ensuring alignment with project goals and company standards.
Develop and implement detailed construction plans, schedules, and methodologies to ensure efficient execution of infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring their adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Establish and monitor project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled, and financial targets are met.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies without compromising project quality or safety.
Approve project expenditures and work closely with the finance team to manage cash flow and reporting.
Ensure that all construction activities comply with industry regulations, local laws, and Saudi Arabian/GCC standards.
Lead regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Identify potential project risks related to timelines, budget, safety, and resources, and implement effective mitigation strategies.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) is an advantage.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Extensive experience in infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, utilities, public works) in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region is essential.
Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Experience working with Saudi Arabian and GCC construction standards, regulations, and local government authorities.
Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
