Optometrist Vacancy in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services and performing routine eye exams.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye exams, including visual acuity tests, refraction tests, and other tests to assess patients' vision.
Diagnose eye diseases and vision conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, cataracts, etc.
Work with patients of all ages to determine their eyewear needs.
Dispense prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Counsel patients on the proper use of contact lenses and spectacles.
Refer patients to ophthalmologists if necessary.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field from an accredited university or institution.
Proven experience as an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist is preferred.
Ability to use a variety of equipment such as phoropters, retinoscopes, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of optical physics and optics principles is essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from all walks of life.
