Roles and responsibilities1.
Warehouse Operations Management:
Supervise Daily Activities:
Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Ensure operations are carried out efficiently and accurately.Inventory Control:
Maintain accurate inventory records, ensure stock levels are monitored, and oversee periodic inventory audits.
Resolve discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate the movement of goods within the warehouse and with external transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate shipments to customers or other business units.Order Fulfillment:
Ensure that orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
Monitor order status and resolve any issues or delays that arise in the fulfillment process.2.
Team Leadership and Staff Management:
Staff Supervision:
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse workers.
Delegate tasks, provide training, and ensure staff are well-equipped to perform their duties.Scheduling and Shift Management:
Create and manage work schedules for warehouse staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Adjust schedules as necessary based on workload fluctuations.Performance Management:
Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
Conduct performance reviews, address issues or challenges, and implement corrective actions when necessary.Training and Development:
Provide ongoing training for new and existing employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, equipment use, and product handling.3.

Ensure that warehouse operations comply with local and industry-specific safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, HACCP, etc.).
Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse.Equipment Safety:
Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
Ensure that employees are trained to use equipment safely.Regulatory Compliance:

Optimize Warehouse Layout:
Review and optimize the warehouse layout to improve the flow of goods, reduce handling time, and increase storage capacity.Implement Best Practices:

Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma to streamline operations.Technology and Automation:
Stay up to date with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies that can improve operational efficiency.
