About theRole The Position We are currentlyseeking to recruit an Associate Business Development Manager tojoin our Middle East team based in Dubai.
Working closely with theHead of Middle East this individual will play an important leadrole in driving growth across Wellingtons full product suite withFinancial Intermediaries and Institutionalized family offices inthe Middle East region.
Responsibilities Responsibilitieswill include:
Working in closepartnership with the Head of Middle East to execute the salesstrategy with regional intermediaries and institutionalized familyoffices;Providing dedicated client coveragefocused on driving growth across funds/strategies in line withbusiness priorities;Contributing to the teamscollaborative approach to relationship building with strategicpartners including identifying developing and nurturing keycontacts;Managing and developing existingclient relationships highlighting key focus funds/strategiescontributing to building buy list positions and identifying newopportunities to partner with keyfirms;Contributing to the development of widerindustry relationships e.g.
trade bodies/ratingsagencies/consultants;Recording and maintainingall significant client contact and managing pipeline updates onSalesforce and ensuring that notes are capturedaccurately;Partnering closely with Marketingand PR colleagues to ensure that local marketing and salesstrategies are closely aligned and contributing to the continuedgrowth in brand awareness;Working with ourinternal colleagues on the product prioritization development andlaunch of vehicles that will be made available to the Middle EastIntermediary and Family Office channel (i.e.
feeder fundsetc.);Providing guidance and direction toRelationship Analysts;Actively contributing toteam sales meetings strategy planning anddevelopment;Traveling within the Middle Eastto support the teams distribution effort with key accountscontributing to client events roadshows andeducation.Qualifications Thesuccessful candidate is likely to:
Have approximately 810 years ofrelevant industry experience working closely with relationships inthe Middle East.
This should include 35 years experience in abusiness development type role;Have ademonstrable track record of successfully developing and managing anetwork of client relationships within the Middle East Intermediaryand Family Office segment;Have a comprehensiveunderstanding of competitors products key market trends andindustry developments;Demonstrate an indepthknowledge of financial markets products and an ability to influencethrough a contentled consultative salesapproach;Be action orientated accountablecommitted driven and selfmotivated with excellent communication andteam working skills;Have the ability toprioritise focus eliminate roadblocks and execute a sales strategyin a timely manner:
Demonstrate a high level ofintegrity and trust and a client centricfocus;Have a strong academic backgroundincluding an undergraduate degree.
A relevant professionalqualification (e.g.
