We are looking for a talented Lead Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead product development and drive research and development (R&D) initiatives as we bring our groundbreaking ideas to life.
As a Lead Product Development Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our product innovation, leading the design, development, and optimization of atmospheric water generation devices.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with experience in R&D who is eager to develop new products from concept to reality.
You will be responsible for conducting R&D activities, utilizing CFD design software, and applying mechanical and thermal engineering principles to invent competitive, high-performance products.Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production, focusing on atmospheric water generation and air conditioning technologiesR&D Initiatives:
Spearhead research and development activities to explore new concepts, materials, and technologies that will enhance product performance and sustainabilitySimulation & Modeling:
Use CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) design software, such as ANSYS or COMSOL, to simulate and optimize the thermal and fluid dynamics performance of our devicesMechanical & Thermal Engineering:
Apply engineering principles to solve design challenges, ensuring that products meet performance, efficiency, and reliability targetsPrototyping & Testing:
Develop and test prototypes, analyze data, and iterate designs to achieve optimal product performanceDocumentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of design processes, R&D findings, and testing outcomes.
Report progress and results to the leadership teamRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, thermal engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience as a Leader in product development/design and R&D, preferably in climate tech, HVAC, AWG, or related industriesProficiency in CFD software (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL) with experience in simulating and optimizing thermal systemsStrong understanding of mechanical and thermal engineering principlesHands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and iterative design processesAbility to work independently and take ownership of R&D and product development projectsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a startup environmentPassion for sustainability and a drive to create innovative, impactful technologyKnowledge and experience in material science, particularly with desiccants, is a plusBenefitsWhat we provide:
