Our client is a leading US-based food retail chain, currently seeking a Director of Operations for the MENA region reporting to the VP of the group based in the USA. The role is accountable for building international restaurant operations that consistently deliver the brands' quality, service, and cleanliness standards while delivering unit and market level financial expectations. This position will lead assigned regions within the International Market enabling vision & mission. You will establish an honest, accountable culture through practicing the company principles: Exceed Guest expectations, Entrepreneurial approach, Economic objective, Relentless pursuit of excellence, and the golden rule of allowing talent to prosper. The Director of Operations will ultimately be responsible for maintaining current knowledge of international labor and food handling practices and partnering with appropriate corporate departments to ensure compliance within each of their assigned countries.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruit & hire talented restaurant management and associates
Ensure accurate implementation and maintain adherence to applicable employment law and HR Practices
Deliver effective training and development
Manage new restaurant openings
Manage and execute corporate-driven marketing plans, materials, and promotions
Support International franchise development
Deliver financial results as defined in the annual budget
