Gargash Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our mental health team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and support to patients with a variety of mental health needs. This role requires a dedicated professional who is adept at handling complex cases and is committed to making a positive impact on patient well-being.
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic patient care.
Educate patients and families on coping strategies and mental health practices.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and follow ethical and professional standards.
Requirements:
DHA License to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Dubai.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setup within Dubai.
Strong knowledge of psychological theories and practices, and experience in handling diverse psychological conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a healthcare team.
Qualifications:
Must hold a DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Psychologist.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Psychologist in a hospital / clinic setting in Dubai.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is preferable.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
