The orthopedic surgeon will provide comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for patients with musculoskeletal disorders.
This role involves performing surgeries, managing post-operative care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans.Key Responsibilities:
Patient Evaluation:
Conduct thorough examinations, including physical assessments and imaging studies, to diagnose orthopedic conditions.Surgical Procedures:
Perform a variety of surgical procedures, such as joint replacements, arthroscopies, fracture repairs, and spinal surgeries.Treatment Planning:
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences, including non-operative management options.Post-operative Care:
Monitor and manage patients during recovery, addressing complications and adjusting treatment as necessary.Collaboration:
Work closely with other healthcare providers, including physical therapists, radiologists, and primary care physicians, to ensure coordinated care.Patient Education:
Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation processes.Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation for all patient interactions and procedures.Research and Education:
Stay current with advancements in orthopedic medicine and participate in ongoing education and training.Qualifications:
