Junior Mechanic (SYRIAN only)

Renowned electro-mechanical company based in Al Ain, UAE is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join their team as a Mechanic.

Qualification:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of verified experience in engine assembly and transmission overhaul; more experience is preferred.
Skills: Proficient in engine assembly, engine removal and installation, suspension repair, brake repair, and general maintenance. Strong auto electrical diagnostics skills are essential.
Tools: Proficient with electrical diagnostics tools, engine repair tools, and general mechanic tools.
Education: Relevant certifications or technical training in automotive mechanics are preferred. Additional education or experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Engine building and assembly.
Transmission overhaul.
Diagnostics and maintenance.
General repairs.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles and follow safety instructions and directions.
Proficiency with hand tools and other equipment.
Excellent active listening, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Self-motivated, independent, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Check and repair horn, headlights, hazard, brake light, and tail light signal lights.
Check and repair wiper motor and wiper blade.
Check and repair all auto doors.
Check and repair all systems, monitor screen, and CCTV front and back screen.
Check battery post and lug.
Check alternator charging system, alternator pump belt, and bearings.
Check starting system, starter, and ignition switch.
Check A/C cooling system, repair, and replace all defective parts.
Check battery power meter using a hydrometer, ensuring it is fully charged.
Tighten all necessary nuts on battery cable.
Ensure the surface of the battery is clean.
Monitor the charging status; check if the charger plug becomes hot.
Check if the terminals are tightened properly; check if the hose and tube for brake liquid are leaking.
Check if the brake liquid inside the brake liquid tank is sufficient.
Check if the shock absorber has any oil leaking, flat, or abnormal noise.
Check air pressure inside the tire, tire surface wear, and nut tightness.
Check for oil leaks on the gearbox and the rear end.
Check if the brake drum and the brake shoe need replacement.
Check if the hand brake functions well; add lubricant inside the wheel hub and steering.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
